Eye spy a Vintage Oscar de la Renta Fitted Color Harlequin Satin Jacket, in which has been seen retailed at $895 or more from different vintage curators. To my motto of Dress the Part, Shop Smart, I found this beauty at Leopard Lounge ( 1657 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006) for an amazing price under $100. The store owner Omar Lisandro (@omar_lisandro), whom is Mr. Houston Vintage himself, never ceases to amaze me. Omar and his team stocks the store per era so you can go straight to your favorite selections.
I paired this expertly crafted Oscar jacket made from ultra-luxurious satin “patches” in vibrant colors ranging from emerald to fuchsia to aubergine and ravishing red, with a lace black pencil skirt and an anklet patent leather shoe. My blinged out briefcase was upcycled from a vintage sequin tank top by Dawn Bell, creator of Houston Vintage. In which I am the reigning Ms. Houston Vintage 2016.
The great thing about this jacket is I can represent in both corporate America and a classic dinner party with Jeans.
